We are pleased to announce the launch of our first project in France in collaboration with the CTCPA (Centre Technique de la Conservation des Produits Agricoles). This project marks a key stage in our expansion into the French market. It illustrates our commitment to supporting our customers in optimizing their laboratory processes. Together, we will work to guarantee the quality of our analyses and enhance the efficiency of the services the CTCPA offers its customers.
The CTCPA
CTCPA (Centre Technique de la Conservation des Produits Agricoles) is a French organization specializing in research, development and innovation for the agri-food industry. Its missions include R&D and innovation programs, auditing and consulting services, analysis, testing and training. Thanks to its various sites throughout France, the organization is able to meet the varied needs of its customers while guaranteeing local expertise.
Project between CTCPA and LabPlus
LabPlus was selected to replace the CTCPA's outdated laboratory application. Prior to this project, the CTCPA had been using an in-house application, developed some twenty years ago, for laboratory sample management (coding and reporting). However, this application is no longer updated and only covers part of the laboratory's needs.
In view of the continuing growth of the company's activities, and the prospect of external growth, the implementation of a LIMS proved necessary. LabPlus will replace the previous in-house application, providing a complete solution for managing all operations at two CTCPA sites:
- The Avignon site, with its microbiology, molecular biology and nutritional quality laboratory.
- The Bourg-en-Bresse site, specialized in packaging, has 2 laboratories. One for characterizing the functional properties of packaging. The other analyzes container-content interactions.
The project specifications are ambitious, encompassing both operational and strategic objectives. These include improving operational efficiency, enhancing quality and compliance, and optimizing collaboration and communication, both internally and with customers.
Project launch in France
To launch the project, Stéphane and Emanuel travelled to France. They were able to meet the teams and lay the foundations for smooth collaboration throughout the project.
During their stay, they had the opportunity to visit the Avignon and Bourg-en-Bresse laboratories. They were able to talk to the teams of each site to understand their specific needs and observe the existing infrastructure. These exchanges are essential to refine the project's objectives and ensure that the solution proposed by LabPlus will perfectly meet the CTCPA's expectations.
By teaming up with a major player in thefood industryWe are demonstrating our ability to provide innovative LIMS solutions tailored to every need. This collaboration will enable the CTCPA to improve its laboratory processes, enhance the quality and compliance of its services, and optimize its operational efficiency. The entire LabPlus team is delighted to be embarking on this adventure and to be contributing to the success of this project.
