We are delighted to announce the signing of a new contract with Statistics Canada, a key institution for the collection and analysis of statistical data at a national level.
LabPlus was commissioned to supply a LIMS system enabling Statistics Canada to improve the management of biological samples collected and optimize the operation of its mobile laboratories.
Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS)
Statistics Canada is responsible forCanadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS). Launched in 2007, the survey collects data on the health of Canadians through physical measurements, blood and urine analyses. It also includes interviews on nutrition, lifestyle and health status.
These data can be used to establish national benchmarks, as well as to highlight undiagnosed health problems. The aim is also to support health policy by identifying the links between risk factors, protective practices and health.
The survey is carried out over a 2-year cycle. It targets people aged 1 to 79 living in the 10 provinces. Participation is voluntary. Participants go to a mobile examination center to collect data.
We are committed to providing quality service and tailoring our solution to the agency's specific requirements. Our goal is to support their mission of providing reliable and relevant data to decision-makers and the general public.
The signing of this contract with Statistics Canada reflects our ability to develop innovative, tailor-made solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer.
We would like to thank Statistics Canada for their trust. The entire LabPlus team is looking forward to contributing to the success of this project.
