Quebec City and LabPlus: a LIMS solution to improve operational efficiency
The City of Quebec, located on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, is the historic and cultural heart of the province of Quebec, Canada. Our project was linked to Quebec City's water quality division. This division plays a crucial role in the management and preservation of the city's water resources. Its mandate is to guarantee the quality of drinking water, while ensuring the protection of the region's waterways and reservoirs.
What challenges or issues did Quebec City face prior to this project?
Quebec City's water quality division was looking to acquire and implement a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to increase the efficiency and speed of operations and decision-making.
How has LabPlus helped solve these challenges?

The project included the following deliverables:
- Sample management and analysis
- Multi-instrument interface
- Configuration to suit laboratory needs (screens, menus, reports, tasks, etc.)
- Conviviality
- Secure data storage
- Quality management
- Report management and automation
What results have been observed since the implementation of LabPlus?
