Our commitment

LabPlus is a product of Logiq Innovations Inc. and is therefore responsible for the protection of your personal information, as well as all other responsibilities towards you. It is for this reason that the entire policy refers to Logiq Innovations Inc.

At Logiq Innovations Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), we know how important privacy is, and that's why it's one of our priorities. So, in an effort to be as transparent as possible, we have developed this Privacy Policy ("Policy"). In it, you'll find our practices regarding the collection, use, retention and processing of your personal information when you use our sites, products and services. It also sets out your rights with regard to our possession of your information. You can find all this in the following sections of the policy:

We use the term "Sites" to refer to all Logiq-operated websites, subdomains and content. Products" refers to software and applications that you can purchase, install and download from our sites. Finally, "Services" refers to the services we offer.
If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use or access our Sites, Products and Services.

1. Collecting information

The information we collect about you depends entirely on your interactions with us. It may be useful for you to know that at any time you may decide not to provide the information requested. However, if you do so, you may not have access to certain Products, Services or information that you may desire.

Basic information

We may collect some basic information about you, such as your first and last name, e-mail address, company and job title when you request a quote, purchase our Products, request our Services or make any other specific request. In addition, we keep a history of your interactions and transactions with us.

Payment information

When making an online payment for any Product or Service, we collect certain basic information, such as first and last name, address and contact person, in order to keep proof of purchase. We do not store any payment card or banking information. We also do not recommend that you send us this information in any way, in which case we will destroy it, as all online payments are managed by a third-party company. We do not make any direct debits from your account.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites automatically install on the computers of those who visit them. Some of our cookies help us to understand user behaviour so that we can improve the experience and performance of our Sites. Others are used to remember whether a user has used our chat box and, if so, to display the discussions. Finally, others are simply essential to the operation of our Sites. It is important to note that none of these cookies is linked to a physical person or allows users to be identified.

We also use certain devices in our promotional campaigns to track the number of people who have opened e-mails or clicked on hyperlinks. We do not collect any other information about our promotional campaigns and, once again, it is not possible to identify a user from this information. We only use this information for research purposes and to improve our campaigns, Services or Products.

It is important to note that the majority of search browsers have a function that allows you to prevent or destroy the installation of cookies.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a Google application that installs cookies on the computers of users of sites that use it to analyze visitor numbers and trends. All this information is stored on their servers. Because we use this application, when you use our Sites, you consent to Google's privacy and confidentiality policies. We are not responsible for the storage and protection of this data.

Microsoft Clarity              

Clarity is a user behavior analysis tool that helps us understand how users interact with our Sites through session replays and heat maps. Because we use this application, when you use our Sites, you consent to Microsoft's privacy and data protection policies. We disclaim all responsibility for the storage and protection of this data.

Live chat console (Tawk.to)              

Our chat service allows us to use our administration console to chat with our customers when they visit our Sites. The tawk.to application uses several types of cookies to help us communicate more effectively with our customers. It also records temporary data. Because we use this application, when you use our Sites, you consent to Tawk.to's privacy and confidentiality policies. We are not responsible for the storage and protection of this data.

An administrator or another member of your organization

In the event that a member of your organization has provided us with your professional contact information, either because they have designated you as a contact person or in order to create an administered account for you, we may collect your information.

2. Sharing your data

We will only share your data for the purposes listed below and we assure you that we will not sell, provide or trade your information for profit.

Third-party service providers

We do business with third-party providers for data hosting and payment processing. The information we collect is stored on cloud databases belonging to our data hosting provider. The latter only accesses your information for storage and retrieval purposes. As for our payment processing provider, we undertake to share your information with them only when necessary for their services. We have contractually ensured that they have adequate measures in place to protect your data.

Links to other sites

Our Sites may contain links to other sites that are not operated by Logiq Innovations Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. If you click on one of these links and are redirected to another Web site, Logiq Innovations Inc. is not responsible for the content displayed, nor for any information that may be collected, used, stored or shared by these sites. We also use social media features that may collect some of your information and set cookies. We do not store or process any of this information. We recommend that you consult their privacy policy for more information on this subject.

Administrative or corporate accounts

In the event that you access our Products or Services using an e-mail address held by an organization and the organization wishes to open an account or activate a license on your behalf, we may share certain basic information with your organization's administrators. In addition, we may share your basic contact information with other users in your organization.

With your consent

We may, with your permission, share your information. For example, we may post a testimonial on our Web site from someone who is satisfied with one of our Services or Products, along with their name.

Change within the company

In the event that Logiq Innovations Inc. becomes involved in an asset or merger transaction, bankruptcy proceeding, reorganization, or other action involving a change in the disposition of control of the business, your information may be shared with those involved in the transaction. Obviously, in such situations, we will take steps, wherever possible, to share as little personal information as possible while ensuring the utmost security and confidentiality.

Certain circumstances may allow us to disclose your information

We may also disclose your personal information in a few other special cases, such as in a situation where you authorize us to do so, where it is permitted by law, where it is an emergency or for any other situation where we are legally required to act.

3. Consent for promotional communications

We will not send you any promotional e-mail unless we receive your consent to do so. This consent may be express or implied. Express consent is when you agree verbally or in writing to receive these e-mails. In a situation where both parties are in a business relationship or one has purchased products from the other, it is possible for the company that sold its product to assume tacit (implied) consent and may, in that case, send promotional communications. At any time, you may unsubscribe from our promotional mailing list by clicking on the link at the bottom of each of our e-mails, or by sending us an e-mail at the following address: privacy@logiq.ca . We will then process your request within a reasonable period of time, i.e. within 10 days. Please note, however, that unsubscribing from our mailing list in no way prevents us from contacting you for non-marketing purposes.

4. Your rights

By law, you have certain rights with respect to the personal information we hold about you. You can exercise these rights by contacting us by e-mail at the following address: privacy@logiq.ca All requests will be processed within 30 days, free of charge.

Right of access

At your request, we can provide you with access to the personal information we hold about you, and how we process and use it. If you have a user account, you can view and modify certain information directly from it. In accordance with data portability legislation, we may send you a file containing a copy of the basic information we hold about you. However, not all your information may be exported to the file.

Right to rectification and deletion

You can update or delete your profile information using the edit function in your user account. However, this action does not necessarily result in the deletion of this information from our servers, as it may be crucial to the proper functioning of our services to you. For this reason, we recommend that you contact us if you wish to destroy confidential information.

Right to close an account

You have the right, at any time, to close a non-administered account within one of our Products or Services, provided that your account is in good standing. To close one of your user accounts, you must complete an account closure form by contacting Logiq Innovations Inc. support at the following link:

Right to limitation

In the event that you believe that we are exceeding the limits of the purposes for which we have collected your information, you have the right to request that we limit our use of it. You may withdraw your consent for their use at any time. However, any such request will not affect the use that has already been made prior to your request.

Right of refusal

To protect your personal information, we will, of course, take steps to verify your identity before asserting your rights. In addition, we reserve the right, on reasonable grounds, not to comply with your requests where to do so would compromise the security of your personal information or interfere with any police investigation or legal proceedings. In the event of refusal, we will attempt to provide you with the reason.

5. Retention and security of your information

Unless you ask us to delete or destroy your personal information, we keep it only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We may also retain some information for various legal reasons. Such information will be treated in accordance with this policy, as well as any applicable laws.

Security and confidentiality of your information

To ensure that your personal information is effectively protected, we have established physical, technical and computer security procedures to prevent any incident relating to the security of your personal information. We regularly review our security measures and limit access to information to those employees who need it to perform the services requested. In addition, our employees and contractors are all subject to strict confidentiality obligations.

For administered or corporate accounts, we store your information as prescribed by your administrator.

Certain information that is no longer required for the performance of our functions, but is still useful for improving our products or services, may be anonymized so that it can no longer identify you.

6. Changes and updates to the policy

We undertake to review this policy periodically, in which case we will amend the date shown at the bottom of the policy. We therefore advise you to check our policy from time to time for any changes. If you do not agree with any part of our policy, please do not use our Sites, Products and Services.
